Dr. Smruti Desai is an Emergency Medicine Physician at Maimonides Medical Center. She earned her MD from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and her MPH from Boston University. She trained in emergency medicine at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in clinical simulation at Maimonides Medical Center. She is passionate about advocacy, health equity, and teaching learners of all levels.
