Dr. Mody is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and currently serves as the Division Chief for Medical Education and as the Medical Education Fellowship Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at Maimonides in 2016 following graduation from the Baystate Medical Center - University of Massachusetts Emergency Medicine Residency Program, where she also served as Chief Resident. She completed a two-year Medical Education Fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center, during which time she also obtained a Masters degree in Medical Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a nationally known educator and has held multiple prior leadership roles in organizations such as the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine, FemInEM, and the Academy of Women in Academic Emergency Medicine. Her personal interests include traveling the world, making our residents into better future educators and leaders, website design, and mitigating wasted time by finding ways to better organize and schedule our lives!
