Hector Vazquez is an attending Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician at Maimonides Medical Center. He graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and trained in pediatrics in the North Shore-LIJ health system. This was followed by a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian where he also received a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Columbia University. He is the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Director at Maimonides Medical Center and enjoys helping learners of all levels practice evidence-based medicine and begin their first research projects.
