Dr. Caroline Paz and Dr. Diormi Rosario Represent Maimonides EM at the 2023 Latino Medical Student Association Northeast Conference

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center was proud to be a sponsor of the 2023 Latino Medical Student Association Northeast Conference. Dr. Caroline Paz and Dr. Diormi Rosario served as our ambassadors to all of the many educational offerings of our department, including programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.

The Latino Medical Student Association - Northeast Region (LMSA-NE) is a non-profit founded to represent, support, educate, and unify Latinx medical students in the United States. This year's conference took place in-person from Friday, January 27th to Sunday, January 29th, 2023, at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. The conference theme, "Un Futuro Para Todos: Highlighting Latino Innovation, Service, and Leadership in Medicine," aimed to celebrate individuals who have pioneered a path forward for all Latinos in healthcare.
