Dr. Daniel Novak is an attending emergency medicine physician and Assistant Medical Director at Maimonides Medical Center. He completed a 3-year emergency medicine residency, including chief year, at Maimonides Medical Center prior to staying on as a fellow in Administration & Operations. He also completed his Master’s in Business Administration through the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His interests and passion include quality improvement, patient safety, and patient experience. Daniel also served as the chair of the EMRA Admin & Ops committee. He is also a representative of our program to the ACGME Quality and Safety Committee. Dr. Novak is passionate about delivering safe and effective care to every emergency department patient and has been a part of several peer-reviewed abstracts and manuscripts in an effort to continue improving the practice and delivery of Emergency Medicine.
